Council meeting – 16th October 2025

Parish Council meeting was held on Thursday 16th October 2025 at 8 p.m. in the Parish Hall

Mr Hall (Chairman), Mr D. Berry, Mrs J. Mitchell, Mr J. Grant, Mr. P. Lake, Mr. M.
Lake, Cllr P. Colthorpe (District Councillor), Cllr S. Keable (County Councillor)

2. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Ms R. Wibberley (Personal), Mr G. Kingdom (Work)

3. NON-ATTENDANCE
None

4. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS
The minutes of the meeting held on 14th August 2025 had already been circulated
prior to the meeting.

Proposal: Agreement to the content of the minutes was proposed by Mr Berry and
seconded by Mrs Mitchell and the meeting unanimously agreed. The minutes were
signed by the chairman.

5. DECLARATION OF INTEREST
None

6. MATTERS ARISING
None

7. PARISH ONLINE
The clerk reported that she had received an invoice for £ 258.00 from Parish Online for
creating the new website together with new emails. Parish Online has included information
on how to edit the new website together with knowledge-based details on the site.

Proposal: Mrs Mitchell proposed payment of the invoice and Marc seconded it, with
unanimous agreement from the meeting. The clerk would make a bank transfer of the
money.
The clerk had been checking the website for accuracy, and some details need amending
Everyone at the meeting agreed to have their photos uploaded to the website.

8. HIGHWAYS
The previous potholes reported have now been fixed

9. CLLR STEVE KEABLE REPORT
The report for October 2025 had been received and would be added to the minutes.

10. CLLR POLLY COLTHORPE REPORT
Cllr Colthorpe gave the following report:
• Mid Devon DC recycling has now included pots and pans but they can’t be nonstick.
